Press Release: Ensure open access for internet service suppliers and ban roaming fees, say MEPs

According to legislation approved by the Members of the European Parliament on the 03 April 2014, Internet access providers will be barred from blocking or slowing down selected services for economic or other reasons.

The draft EU 'telecoms package' legislation also bans 'roaming' charges for using a mobile phone in another EU country, as of from 15 December 2015.
