On 29.1.01, Poland and the European Commission signed a joint assessment paper in Warsaw analysing Poland's progress in modernising its employment systems to accommodate Community employment policy and identifying Poland's key jobs challenges in the run-up to enlargement. The paper commits Poland to a set of agreed employment and labour market objectives and commits both parties to a regular assessment of progress until enlargement.
