The former Panel on Additives, Flavourings, Processing Aids and Materials in Contact with Food (AFC) of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), replaced on 10 July 2008 by the Panel on Food Additives and Nutrient Sources added to Flavourings and Processing Aids (CEF), issued an opinion, on 23 July 2008, on a specific aspect of the chemical bisphenol A (BPA), concerning its elimination from the body and how that relates to the risk assessment of BPA for humans. |
