The Panel on Biological Hazards (BIOHAZ) of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), on 27 July 2006, published its opinion of the present European Union (EU) sheep breeding programme for resistance against TSEs (Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies) and recommended its continuation with some minor amendments.
