Press Release: EFSA management board decides on acting executive director

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) Management Board decided, on 13 September 2005, on the appointment of Dr. Herman Koëlter as Acting Executive Director, effective from 26 November 2005. He will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Authority until a successor to the current Executive Director of EFSA, Geoffrey Podger, has been found and takes up the post.
