Press Release: EESC plenary session: discussion on transparency with European Ombudsman, key opinions on the way to economic recovery

At its plenary session on 13 - 14 May 2009, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) will hold a debate with the European Ombudsman, Nikiforos Diamandouros, on citizens' expectations and transparency issues. A number of key opinions linked to economic recovery, particularly in the automobile industries, the regulation of rating agencies and competitiveness, are also on the agenda.
