The Executive Director of the European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders of the Member States of the European Union (FRONTEX), on 28 August 2008, hosted a meeting in Warsaw with the Directors of two other EU agencies, the Community Fisheries Control Agency (CFCA) and the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA), to discuss possible cooperation in the framework of the European Maritime Strategy. The three directors concluded that common ground for cooperation between their agencies was likely to lie mainly in the field of maritime surveillance and research. |
