The Irish Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources, Dermot Ahern, said on 24 November 2003, that both Ireland and France may be able to adopt similar positions in advance of the annual fisheries talks at EU level, which would take place in December 2004. He was speaking following a meeting in Paris with Hervé Gaymard, the French Minister for Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and Rural Affairs. |
