Press Release: Defra acts to secure February date for Single Payment Scheme

The UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) announced, on 14 July 2005, that the Rural Payments Agency would prioritise registrations of land onto the Rural Land Register to ensure the fastest possible progress towards a February 2006 start date for payments under the new Single Payment Scheme.
