Press Release: Declaration by the Presidency on behalf of the European Union on the termination of UNOMIG

The EU regrets Russia’s decision to block agreement in the UN Security Council despite efforts to accommodate the concerns of all parties involved and also regrets the Russian veto on the technical roll-over of the United Nations Observer Mission in Georgia (UNOMIG) to extend the presence of the Mission.
