Press Release: Danuta Hübner encourages Netherlands and Belgium to set up new cross-border projects with a long-term vision

Danuta Hübner, European Commissioner for Regional Policy, visited Antwerp on 17 March, 2008, to launch the Flanders-Netherlands cooperation programme for 2007-2013. A total of €190 million will be invested in supporting new ideas for cross-border projects. The Commissioner met regional stakeholders together with Mrs Patricia Ceysens, Flemish Minister for Economy, Enterprise, Science, Innovation and Foreign Trade, and Mrs Maria Van der Hoeven, Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs.
