Press Release: Croatia: Croatian Prime Minister addresses UN General Assembly

Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader highlighted the central role of the United Nations in the struggle against terrorism and weapons of mass destruction, saying Croatia was willing to increase its participation in UN peace missions. In his speech as the first Croatian PM to address the UN General Assembly, Sanader also spoke about Croatia's candidacy for nonpermanent membership of the UN Security Council
