A five-year strategy for financial assistance to Croatia was adopted by the European Commission on 18 December 2001. Over the next three years, 2002-2004, รถ191 million has been earmarked for Croatia to finance this strategy. The priorities set in the strategy are democratic stabilisation; economic and social development; justice and home affairs; administrative capacity building; environment and natural resources. These are key goals of the Stabilisation and Association Process, the cornerstone of the EU's policy towards the western Balkans. |
