Press Release: Contact point for child protection at Eurojust

Eurojust, in November 2008, appointed Ola Laurell, the National Member for Sweden, to the new position of Contact Point for Child Protection. His role will be to follow closely the work of relevant authorities, law enforcement organisations and other bodies in the field of Child Protection. He will ensure cooperation with preferred partners, such as Interpol, Europol and the UNODC. He will also represent Eurojust in conferences and seminars concerning child protection and related matters, thus ensuring that Eurojust has access to best practice.
