Press Release: Conference on ‘NGO Co-operation for the social inclusion of people with disabilities’

On 19 and 20 March 2001, the European Commission hosted a conference in Brussels of beneficiaries from projects supporting the social inclusion of people with disabilities under the Phare LIEN and Partnership programmes. On the basis of the participants' experience with the implementation of their projects, the conference presented the contributions of NGOs dealing with the target population in the fields of education and training, employment and social life.
