The Commission adopts a Communication, 8.12.99 setting out guidelines and detailed arrangements for the implementation of the Community's future assistance to Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY) for the period 2000-2006. On the basis of these guidelines the Commission will present a draft Regulation on implementing assistance in the first quarter of 2000. The Commission estimates that up to €5.5bn will be allocated in the form of grants to the region. |
