On 27.10.00, the Commission's proposal to allocate emergency aid of €200 million from the EU Budget before the end of the year 2000 was formally endorsed by the European Parliament. The €200 million consists of €20 million of reallocated aid and €180 million from the emergency reserve. An additional €182 million would be spent on Serbia and €18 million more on humanitarian aid (ECHO) in Serbia. |
