Press Release: Commissioner Mimica visits Burkina Faso to show solidarity and support to the new Government following the terrorist attacks

The European Union's commissioner for international cooperation and development Neven Mimica, visited Burkina Faso on 12 February 2016 to welcome the peaceful and successful elections which concluded the country's transition process.

The visit was an opportunity to hold discussions with the newly-elected government after the presidential and legislative elections.
