On 1 July 2010 Commissioner for International Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Response, Kristalina Georgieva, travelled to Kyrgyzstan. During her two day visit the Commissioner discussed the humanitarian situation with the Kyrgyz authorities and took the opportunity to travel to the Osh region, which was the area most severely affected by recent ethnic clashes. |
