Press Release: Commission assesses stability programmes of Belgium, Luxembourg and Austria

The European Commission on 1 February 2006 published its assessment of Austria's, Belgium's and Luxembourg's respective updated stability programmes. The European Commission found that all three countries had set sound strategies for their public finances in the medium-term, in line with the revised Stability and Growth Pact.
