On 7.8.00 the European Commission approved an operation by which French bank Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations and Spanish bank Banco Urquijo will create a joint venture named Banco CDC Urquijo, which will carry out custody activities for institutional investors and corporate bodies in Spain. The deal presents no overlaps as CDC is not currently active in custodian services for institutional investors in Spain. |
