The European Commission has decided to close an investigation of Air France for alleged discrimination against SABRE, an American computerised reservation system (CRS), after the French airline agreed to a code of good behaviour offering SABRE equivalent terms to those offered to its partly owned CRS Amadeus, as well as to other CRSs. The successfully conducted investigation was the first to have been initiated by a request from the United States Department of Justice made in accordance with a bilateral cooperation agreement between the European Union and the United States. |
