Press Release: Climate change: Commission refers Poland to Court for failure to comply with EU laws on fluorinated greenhouse gases

On 16 April 2014, the European Commission decided to refer Poland to the EU Court of Justice for failing to notify to the Commission what penalties had been put in place in case the EU rules for companies and personnel undertaking certain activities with fluorinated gases are not observed.

Poland has also not yet notified the national certification bodies that should train and certify the relevant service personnel and service companies.
