Changes to packaging rules were announced, on 20 October 2005, by the UK Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, that would lead to more packaging waste being recycled and recovered and more businesses being involved. This will help the UK to meet its recovery and recycling targets in the EC Directive on Packaging and Packaging Waste 94/62/EC. |
