The UK Minister for Sport, Richard Caborn, on 15 November 2005, announced a plan to overhaul the way football was run in Europe. A meeting of EU sport ministers, together with the European Commission and the football bodies, UEFA, FIFA and the European Professional Football Leagues, would meet in December 2005 to discuss the plan. |
