It was announced on 15 April 2003, that Mr Desmond O'Malley was to become an Alternate Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, based in London. Mr O'Malley was the Irish Minister for Industry and Commerce from July 1989 until November 1992. He was also leader of the Progressive Democrat Party until October 1993. |
