The Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Walter Schwimmer, welcomed, 28 June 2004, the election of Boris Tadic as President of Serbia. Mr Schwimmer expressed his hope that Serbia will enter a period of political stability favourable to the necessary reforms for the country to proceed towards European integration. |
