Bulgaria and Romania are aiming to be the next countries to join the European Union and have set 2007 as the target date. In parallel with the accession negotiations, the Enterprise Directorate-General is already cooperating with both countries on a number of fronts to ensure that they, and their business communities, will be ready for the demands of EU membership. |
