Report of a meeting in Brussels on 3 April 2003 between the US Secretary of State, Colin Powell, and foreign ministers from NATO and Member States. Mr Powell made it clear that the post war settlement of Iraq would be conducted on US terms but he held open the possibility of a role for the United Nations - something which Europeans have been pushing for. |
