Polish clash: Should Tusk stay or go

The Law and Justice party (PiS), which was the ruling party in Poland, needed to calculate whether to back its compatriot but political foe Donald Tusk for a second term as European Council President for the period from 2017-2019. What would be the political impact in Poland of rejecting him for a second term and Mr Tusk returning to internal Polish politics.
