Podemos co-founder resigns prompting crisis

One of the founders of Spain's anti-austerity Podemos party unexpectedly resigned on the 30 April 2015, plunging the new party into its first major crisis ahead of key elections later in 2015.

Juan Carlos Monedero, the party's number three and a former adviser to late Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez, said he was quitting over ideological differences.
