Pay companies to hire youth, OECD suggests

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) published its 2013 Employment Outlook on the 16 July 2013.

The OECD Employment Outlook 2013 looked at labour markets in the wake of the financial and economic crisis. It also included chapters on employment protection legislation; benefit systems, employment and training programmes and re-employment earnings and skills after job loss.

Speaking to Reuters after the report's release, the OECD's head of employment policy, Stefano Scarpetta, warned particularly of a growing emergency over youth unemployment.
