Hungary looks to a brighter futureSummary:The spring issue of Panorama magazine features an interview with Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms Elisa Ferreira. The discussion covers her past experiences and her priorities for the future. The country focus this time is on Hungary. As well as a wide selection of projects there is also an interview with László Palkovics, Hungarian Minister for Innovation and Technology on his plans for increasing his country’s competitiveness. Another main article showcases projects funded through Interreg in the year in which it celebrates its 30th anniversary. It also looks at the work of the ongoing “EU delivers in the regions” communications campaign, featuring an interview with the leader of the Administrative Capacity Building pilot action team Kostas Raftopoulos, and evaluating the success of the EU’s Catching-Up Regions initiative. The In Your Own Words section features a contribution from the Baltic Sea Region, and the Youth4Regions journalist reports on the CITIES Forum which took place recently in Porto.
