Worker consultation. The European Commission has issued a consultation document sent to the social partners on the possible content of EU legislation in the field of information and consultation of employees at national level. The social partners now have six weeks to either submit their opinion on the document, or decide to negotiate an agreement themselves, under the Agreement on Social Policy.
