Oracle dispute with European trade watchdog intensifies

The battlelines between DG Competition of the European Commission and Oracle hardened on the 10 November 2009, when the Commission described the US software company's strident overnight attack on their objections to its proposed $7.4bn acquisition of Sun Microsystems as 'facile and superficial'.
