Ongoing negotiations on reaching an informal agreement regarding the EU School Fruit, Vegetables and Milk Scheme

The second trilogue meeting between the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament was held on 11 November 2015.

The starting point for this meeting's discussion was the legal basis of the proposal. A date for the following trilogue meeting was not set, despite the existence of subsequent informal talks.

The proposal was put forward by the European Commission in January 2014. The European Parliament adopted its negotiating stance on it in May 2015, while the Council was given the mandate to start negotiations in October.
