On the 9 January 2017, a terrorist attack in Northern Sinai, killed and injured many people. It is a tragic reminder of the continuing terrorist threat to Egypt. After this attack, the European Union condemned all forms of terrorism and standed side by side with Egypt in its fight against terrorism. |
