On the attacks in Afghanistan

On the 10 January 2017, Afghanistan was once again targeted by two despicable attacks, one in Kabul near the Parliament building and the other in Kandahar, which left dozens of innocent people dead and many others injured.

Peace and reconciliation, and the functioning of the institutions are of the utmost importance for a stable Afghanistan.
After this attack, The European Union would stand by the Afghan authorities and called on all Afghans to stay united in support of our combined efforts to fight this global threat of terrorism.
