Ireland’s large multinational sector helped restore positive growth in the third quarter of 2009, but analysts cautioned this did not mark the end of the recession.

Gross domestic product, which includes the profits made by US and other foreign-owned companies based in Ireland, increased 0.3% in the July to September 2009 period.
