No decision on Nato’s expansion

Speaking at the closing session of Nato's parliamentary assembly, which took place at the end of May 2001, Nato Secretary-General Lord Robertson said it was still too early to say which European states would be invited to join the alliance. Lithuania is pushing hard for Nato membership - as are nine other European states.
