NGO warns Germany against cuts to Syria aid

EurActiv reported on the 20 August 2014 that Germany intended to balance its budget. The draft 2015 budget, recently tabled by the Foreign Office, shows plans to cut funding for humanitarian aid from €398.2 million to €280 million. This could worsen the situation of refugees in Syria and surrounding countries.
