NFU Cymru welcomed the promise made by the Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Alun Davies, in November 2011 that the Welsh Government will provide a fully flexible approach to farmers entering Glastir from 2012.

The union says such an approach will allow Welsh farmers to consider their future options when there is certainty on the final shape of the Common Agriculture Policy (CAP) reform process and how the proposed 'greening' measures could impact on Glastir.
