New framework for scientific advice and protocol assistance. Consultation document

The European Medicines Agency (EMEA) in September 2005, launched a public consultation on its proposals for speeding up and streamlining its provision of scientific advice to sponsors. The main features of the revised procedure are the faster delivery of advice to sponsors and the earlier and greater involvement of experts and assessors, which should lead to better, more effective and faster development of safe and effective medicines. Deadline for responses: 22 November 2005.
