New eastern EU jobseekers ‘expected to top 50,000’

According to a study released by the (UK) Institute for Public Policy Research on 25 April 2006, around 56,000 Romanian and Bulgarian workers are likely to migrate to Britain in 2007, when their countries are due to join the European Union.
