New connections. A strategy to realise the potential of the information society

The Irish Minister for the Information Society, Mary Hanafin, published the first progress report on 'New Connections', the Government's Action Plan for developing an Information Society, on 17 February 2003. The report outlines progress on all seven policy strands of 'New Connections': Telecommunication Infrastructure, Legal and Regulatory Environment, eGovernment, eBusiness, Research and Development, Lifelong Learning and eInclusion.
