The European Commission, on 9 July 2012, relaunched its call for expressions of interest from representatives of patient and healthcare-professional organisations who wish to sit on the Committee for Advanced Therapies (CAT) or the Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee (PRAC) of the European Medicines Agency (EMA). The call was first launched in September 2011. It was launched again at the request of the European Parliament because the initial call led to a low number of expressions of interest. The new call aimed to widen the choice of representatives. |
