Monks points up ‘brilliant opportunity’ to lead reform

In an interview with the Financial Times on 19 May 2003, John Monks, Head of the (UK) Trades Union Congress (TUC), considers euro entry and says the UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair, and his Chancellor, Gordon Brown, have a 'brilliant opportunity to show decisive British economic leadership'.
