Monaco taxation agreement approved by EU

On 11 October 2016, the Council of the European Union approved the conclusion of an agreement with Monaco that would improve tax compliance by private savers.

This agreement was aimed at preventing tax evasion and was also aimed at improving cross-border access to information on the financial accounts of each other's residents.
