Merger Case M.8652 | Acquisition of Mefro Wheels by Accuride

Further information:

The European Commission approved on 30 April 2018 under the EU Merger Regulation, the acquisition of steel wheels manufacturer Mefro Wheels by its competitor Accuride. However, its investigation showed that the proposed transaction raised some competition concerns. To address them, Accuride offered to divest its European business Gianetti Ruote, an Italian company, to a suitable buyer.

The transaction was notified to the Commission on 12 March 2018.
