This report was prepared following a European Commission technical mission to Morocco and visit to the Spanish territories of Ceuta and Melilla between 7 October and 11 October 2005. The mission followed the tragic events in September and October 2005 when several people died in mass attempts by immigrants to cross into Spain's enclave of Ceuta in North Africa. |
